Tesla delivers in the end
The Ferdinand Motors Team with driver Gunnar Birkenfeldt and co-driver Andreas Handeland won the electric class of the EVS Viking Rally 2009 with their Tesla Roadster.
The Ferdiand Motors Team proved that the Tesla is an impressive vehicle.
The Tesla met the high expectations, grabbing the victory of the electric class. Driver Birkenfeldt is very happy with the result.
- We were very uncertain this morning, having finished only third total after the first two days. It's been tough, we've slept much less than all the others, so I really think we deserved this, says the happy racer.
Final results in all classes will be available later tonight.
